Hello

I'm Nicola. Over the past decade I've been writing and performing my own plays at theatres including London's Soho Theatre, The Southwark Playhouse and New York's 59E59 Theatre. I am now working on my first memoir, funded by Arts Council England, alongside writing articles and content for other publications and businesses.

Having benefitted hugely from writing and telling my own stories, I am passionate about giving other people the opportunity, guidance and encouragement to do the same. I believe in the power of writing not only as a creative practice but also a therapeutic one. I facilitate writing workshops and host a storytelling night in Thanet.

Writing Workshops

In a 90 minute workshop, I will guide you through a variety of timed writing exercises and tips that will inspire you creatively and help you overcome self-doubt. You will come away with increased confidence in your writing, and a tool kit for finding compelling stories from your own life and your imagination.

Workshops are open to everyone, no matter your experience level.

You will not be asked to share what you write.

If you'd like more bespoke writing advice or help with a particular project, I also offer one to one sessions. Feel free to get in touch via email.
